Every size, every colour, every branch.
A clothing shop doesn’t sell “a kurta”. It sells a medium in navy and a large in white, in two branches, through a season sale and a wave of wrong-size returns. Tilly POS keeps each of those straight — at the counter and in the owner’s reports.
No sign-up and nothing to type: both buttons open a demo shop with two branches and a day of trading.
Sound familiar?
Four things that go wrong in almost every clothing shop that runs on a register.
“The register says two mediums in navy. There are none on the rack.”
Stock is counted per design, not per size and colour, so the sizes that sell out first are the ones nobody notices until a customer asks.
“The other branch has the large — but nobody knows that.”
The customer leaves, and the large sits unsold across town until the end of the season.
“New stock arrived for Eid and there was no time to price it.”
Hand-written tags, a price the cashier remembers, and a sale-season discount nobody approved.
“Exchanges are written on the back of the bill.”
By the end of the day the cash, the stock and the bills no longer agree, and nobody can say which exchange broke them.
Built around sizes and colours
All of this is in the product today — open the demo and check any of it.
One design, every size and colour
Add “Cotton kurta” once with sizes and colours (and a third option such as fit). Every combination gets its own barcode, price, cost and stock count.
Barcode labels you print yourself
Print price labels straight from the system on 38 × 25 or 50 × 30 mm thermal rolls, or on A4 sheets. New stock is on the rack the same day.
Stock in every branch
Each branch keeps its own stock; the owner sees them together. Move the large from one branch to the other with a transfer, and both branches’ numbers stay right.
Wrong-size returns, done properly
Return the medium on its original bill and put it back on the rack, then sell the large. The refund, the new sale and both sizes’ stock are each recorded — nothing on the back of a bill.
Season sales with limits
Cashiers can discount up to a limit you set. Above it, a manager approves at the counter, and the approval is recorded with the sale.
End-of-season counts
Count the stock while the shop stays open: items sold during the count are not mistaken for shortages. Every price change is kept, so last season’s bills still make sense.
What clothing shops ask
Can every size and colour have its own barcode?
Yes. A product can have up to three options, such as size, colour and fit. Every combination is its own item with its own barcode, price, cost and stock count.
Can it print barcode labels?
Yes. Labels print from the browser on 38 × 25 mm or 50 × 30 mm thermal rolls, or on A4 label sheets.
How does a wrong-size exchange work?
Return the item on the original bill and put it back on the rack, then ring up the right size as a new sale. Both sizes’ stock and the day’s cash stay correct, and both steps are in the audit log.
Can I see stock in my other branch?
Yes. Stock is kept per branch, the owner sees all branches together, and stock can be transferred from one branch to another.
Does it work without internet?
Not yet — selling while the internet is down is planned as its own release. With the one-time licence the system can run on a computer inside the shop, so it needs only the shop’s own network.
